Abstract: The inquiry learning process should be seen as a stimulus that can challenge students to feel involved or participate in learning activities both in digesting, observing, analyzing, responding and answering problems that are being experienced. Any learning carried out by a teacher has the aim of achieving maximum learning outcomes, so he must master the material taught using a variety of learning methods in general (lectures, discussions, questions and answers, giving assignments) and specifics such as effective and fun inquiry (PAIKEM) in order to boost student learning outcomes. The condition of students when learning Islamic Religious Education subjects (not serious about carrying out assignments, reluctant to ask questions, argue, connect subject matter with the real world, students' ability to accept lessons is low) so that learning outcomes are not optimal. The various obstacles above can be found alternative solutions with the creativity of the teacher to package Islamic Religious Education subject matter using the inquiry method in the hope that learning outcomes will improve better than before.

Abstract: Different teaching models have been used to enhance the teaching and learning process in order to meet the required achievements. This process keeps on changing for decades, particularly with the inclusion of the communicative approach. In this respect, a mooting point concerns how the interactive process of teachers and learners take place for designing course materials. Another vital point to consider is how to evaluate the achievements of a set of pedagogical packages offered for novice teachers in particular, which are merely a part of their constitutive formation and course management. These investigative points are conducted by loading the Tunisian doctoral students with the most effective pedagogical means so that they acquire the desired procedures for course planning and class management. These students are required to teach their classmates, pretending to be learners, within a micro-teaching context. The presupposed teachers are equipped with the necessary teaching means. The experiment consists in a scientific class session followed by a class discussion describing and assessing the presented courses performance. This pursued process represents a pedagogical mechanism for designing a yardstick for mapping out an assessing measure of the courses. It is found that the doctoral students use different cognitive techniques to manage their classes by assigning tasks with different levels of complexities. Finally, it is suggested that the presented courses leave traces of achievements. The doctoral students are able to diversify their pedagogical techniques during class management. What remain at issue are the pedagogical anomalies to avoid for a better teaching performance.

Abstract: Pharmacology, as a core course for Pharmaceutical Engineering students, is a basic medical course, which is usually composed of "theoretical courses" and "experimental courses". Pharmacology experiments are a visual validation of the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom. Through practical operation and observation of experimental results, we can have a deeper understanding of the concepts of drug mechanism of action, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. In order to meet diversified learning needs, optimize the utilization of teaching resources, and promote independent learning and collaboration ability, online and offline blended teaching is the mainstream teaching mode in the "Internet+" era, which provides a suitable environment and starting point for the ideological and political construction of the curriculum and the practice of the goal of cultivating people with virtue. It is especially necessary to conduct online and offline teaching methods for pharmacology experiments. This article uses the example of "insulin overdose reaction and rescue experiment" to demonstrate the blended teaching mode of online and offline teaching. It attempts to start with the necessity of strengthening students' innovative practical ability cultivation in pharmacology experiment teaching, analyze the problems exposed in current pharmacology experiment teaching in detail, and propose optimization measures such as effectively integrating teaching resources, designing different experimental projects, innovating experiment teaching mode, and emphasizing students' innovative practice based on the mastered situation, in order to provide reference for the blended teaching mode of pharmacology experiment online and offline.

Abstract: This systematic literature review aimed to synthesize the literature on exit exams in higher education. To this end, an attempt was made to look into the purpose of exit exams in higher education, the design and preparation of exit exams in higher education, the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of exit exams in higher education, and the effects of exit exams on students, instructors, programs, and higher education institutions. In the literature search, the researcher used different electronic databases. The databases used were ERIC, JSTOR, Wiley, Google Scholar, and Tylor and Francis. Search terms were formulated and applied to the online databases. A total of 77 study articles were identified, and 11 studies were included in the study after applying inclusion, exclusion, and quality assessment criteria. The review process was guided by research questions. PICO (Problem Intervention Comparison Outcome) was used to formulate the research questions. The paper was prepared using the planning, protocol, extraction, analysis, and reporting stages. This systematic review followed the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) criteria. Zotero was used for reference management. The study revealed that exit exams are requirements for graduation in higher education. The principal purpose of the exit exams is to assess students’ educational achievement. Exist exams positively affect students, instructors, and intuitions in the higher education context. Exit exams in higher education are used to measure the attitude, knowledge, and skill of graduates in terms of competencies. Exit exams cover the fundamentals of the relevant fields of study. A variety of measurement instruments are used in exit exams. Exit exams are also criticized on different issues. For effective and efficient utilization of exit exams in higher education it requires a higher education system pre-exit, during, and post-exit exam test administration activities. Concerning the future of exit exams in higher education alternative methods of assessment are proposed by scholars.

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has precipitated an unprecedented shift towards distance and online learning (DOL) globally, including in Angola, where the transition has revealed numerous challenges and uncertainties, especially within higher education. This paper delves into the historical context of DOL in America, Europe, and Africa, highlighting the diverse experiences and lessons learned in these regions. The emphasis is on the necessity of a well-planned, strategic approach to DOL implementation, tailored to the unique context of each region. In Angola, the Ministry of Education has initiated discussions around DOL, but the transition has been fraught with issues such as inadequate digital infrastructure, limited internet access, and a lack of training and support for both educators and students. This paper argues for a phased implementation strategy for DOL in Angola, incorporating comprehensive market research, meticulous project planning, and clearly defined deliverables. It also stresses the critical importance of involving all stakeholders, including government bodies, educational institutions, and private sector partners, to ensure the sustainability and success of DOL initiatives. By addressing these challenges and adopting a structured, inclusive approach, Angola has the potential to develop a more resilient and effective online education system. The paper concludes by outlining the steps necessary to overcome existing barriers and create a supportive environment for digital learning, ultimately aiming to enhance educational access and quality in the country.
